Battle for the Pump

Fresno City College's football team will be visiting Reedley High Stadium to face the Reedley College Tigers in the annual Battle for the Pump.
Last year, the Rams controlled the late part of the game before posting a 31-0 win over the Tigers.
Fresno City enters the game with a 2-0 record, ranked 5th in the state by the California Community College Football Coaches Association poll.

Quarterback Club secretary Shirley Gustafson is pictured
with Raymond Pinkston, Ian Hall and coach Whited.
This will be the second straight week RC will be facing a ranked squad. Last week in a 45-17 home opening loss to No. 7 San Joaquin Delta, the Tigers were haunted by turnovers.

Game time against Fresno City will be at 7 p.m.

Last Friday, the Reedley College Quarterback Club hosted their weekly meeting. Coach Randy Whited introduced players Ian Hall and Raymond Pinkston.
